Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing, scheduling, licensing, disposal and everything else people ask before they book a cleanout or a demolition job.
How much does junk removal cost?
We price by the volume your items occupy in the truck plus the labor to get them there. A single-item pickup is our minimum; a full 16-20 cubic yard truckload is the top of a standard residential job. Estate, hoarding and commercial projects are quoted as a whole scope. You always get the number before we start, and it includes labor, hauling and disposal fees.
Do you give free estimates?
Yes. On-site estimates are free and carry no obligation. For simpler jobs you can text or email photos to estimates@junkrangerremoval.com and we will quote from those, usually the same day.
How fast can you come out?
Same-day and next-day slots are available across Palm Beach and Broward most weeks, and we hold emergency capacity for evictions, code enforcement deadlines and closings. Statewide jobs are typically scheduled within a few days.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are licensed and carry general liability insurance, and we issue certificates of insurance directly to building management, HOAs or general contractors before work begins.
Do you do demolition, or just hauling?
Both. We perform selective, interior and light structural demolition — kitchen and bath tear-outs, full interior strip-outs, concrete and slab breakout, shed and screen enclosure teardown — and we haul the debris ourselves, so it is one contract instead of two.
What is the largest job you will take?
Multi-day, multi-truck projects are our specialty. Whole-estate cleanouts, severe hoarding recoveries, warehouse and office building clear-outs, and full interior demolition packages are routine for us.
Do I have to be home?
No. Many of our clients are out of state or handling a property remotely. We can work from a lockbox or gate code and send photo documentation before, during and after.
What items will you not take?
We cannot haul hazardous waste — wet paint, solvents, pesticides, asbestos-containing material, medical waste or fuel. We will identify anything in that category and point you to the proper county household hazardous waste program.
What happens to everything you haul away?
Usable furniture, housewares and building materials are routed to local charity partners where possible. Metal, cardboard and clean concrete are recycled. Electronics go to certified e-waste recyclers. The remainder goes to permitted Florida transfer and disposal facilities.
Can you handle a hoarding situation discreetly?
Yes, and we do it regularly. We can stage unmarked, work from the rear of the property, and keep crew size and hours arranged so the job draws as little attention as possible. Valuables, cash and documents recovered during the work are always returned to the family.
Do you work with realtors, attorneys and property managers?
Constantly. Listing agents, probate and estate attorneys, REO asset managers, landlords and commercial property managers make up a large share of our repeat business. We can invoice to a firm, work to a closing date, and provide documentation for a file.
Do you offer dumpster rental instead?
We are a full-service option — we bring the labor, so nothing sits in your driveway for a week. On projects where a roll-off genuinely makes more sense, we will tell you that.
Do you charge extra for stairs, elevators or long carries?
Our quote accounts for access before we start, so there is no surprise upcharge on the invoice. Third-floor walk-ups and long carries are factored in at quoting time.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, all major credit cards, checks from businesses and firms, and ACH for commercial and property preservation accounts.
Do you work weekends and after hours?
Yes. Commercial cleanouts especially are often scheduled overnight or on weekends so business operations are never interrupted.
Can you help after a hurricane?
Yes. We run storm debris removal when municipal pickup is weeks out — vegetative debris, damaged fencing and screen enclosures, water-damaged interior materials, and roof tear-off debris, with photo documentation for insurance claims.
How much notice do you need for a big commercial job?
For a full office or warehouse clear-out we like a few days to size the crew and equipment correctly, but we have turned around lease-surrender emergencies in 48 hours.
Do you provide a certificate of insurance for my building?
Yes, on request, before the first truck arrives. Send us the building's requirements and the certificate holder details.
Do you take construction debris from my own DIY project?
Absolutely. Drywall, tile, lumber, cabinets and fixtures from a homeowner remodel are all standard loads for us.
What areas of Florida do you serve?
All 67 counties, with the deepest and fastest coverage across Palm Beach and Broward, plus strong coverage in Miami-Dade, Martin and St. Lucie counties.
